Preparation Workshop
Updated to reflect the Third Edition of
PMBOK®, this
course will provide an overall understanding of the application of project
management processes. It will cover
the project management framework, professional responsibility, product, and
project life cycles. Nine knowledge
areas covered include project scope, time, cost, quality, human resources,
communication, risk, procurement, and integration management.
It will cover thirty-nine processes, their inputs, tools and techniques,
and outputs. The Project Management
Institute’s process for certifying individuals for the Project Management
Professional designation will be covered in detail.
Students will be registered for and required to use the on-line study aid,
to complete class assignments.
